The Surmount Sports Educational and Cultural Trust (Regd.) is a registered organisation working across three pillars — sports development, education, and cultural promotion — to build well-rounded young citizens across Delhi-NCR.
Under this trust operates the Najafgarh Cricket Club, a centre of excellence for cricket coaching and youth sports development. Beyond cricket, the trust actively organises music and cultural competitions to celebrate the wider talents of young people — including the Meri Awaaz Suno singing competition, which gave young voices a grand stage to perform at Vandana International School, Dwarka in February 2026.
Our mission is to promote sports excellence, cultural creativity, and youth development — creating a complete ecosystem where every child's talent is identified, nurtured and celebrated. Many more cultural, educational, and sports initiatives are planned in the future under the trust's expanding vision.
Age-appropriate training for young cricketers aged 8–14 years, focusing on fundamentals and building strong technique from the ground up.
Intensive sessions for experienced players targeting advanced techniques, tactical awareness and high-performance skill development.
Regular inter-squad and inter-club match practice to develop match temperament, decision-making and competitive readiness.
Intensive summer camps offering immersive cricket training, fitness drills and focused skill-building over a structured period.
Players participate in SKPL and other local, district-level tournaments, gaining invaluable competitive match experience.
Dedicated fitness conditioning, agility training and cricket-specific skill drills to make players physically and technically superior.
Coach Shashi Kaala is the Founder and Head Coach of the Shashi Kaala Cricket Academy / Najafgarh Cricket Club, and the driving force behind the Surmount Sports Educational and Cultural Trust. He has dedicated years to developing cricketing talent and nurturing young people across Najafgarh and Delhi-NCR.

Meri Awaaz Suno is a youth singing talent competition organised by S.S.E. Cultural Trust (Surmount), giving young singers and performers a professional platform to showcase their talent before a live audience and judges.
The Grand Finale of the Winter 2025-26 edition was held on 14th February 2026 at Vandana International School, Dwarka, Sector-10, New Delhi — a spectacular celebration of young voices.
Students from schools across Delhi performed, including students of S.D. Public School who proudly presented Vande Mataram. Coach Shashi Kaala himself participated as organiser and performer at the event.
